(WCBS) A Lakewood New Jersey business owner has a clean looking,
informative, and he says, profitable web sight, because Jack Guarnieri of
Pinball Sales has questioned a few assumptions about web sites. For one thing,
there are no traded out box ads on his site.
He says, “For the couple of
pennies we may make selling somebody else’s product, it really interferes with
doing our own business. Why send them someplace else? People don’t realize
there’s no advertising on there. I know you said that yourself,
Joe.”
“Right, until you mentioned it,” I said, “then I realized that was
why it looked so clean.”
“Yeah, it’s kind of like subliminal non
advertising,!” Jack said. And another thing - Jack has almost no links out of
his sight either for the same reason. Why send people away? But he does use
trade magazines and his own e bay auctions to create links in to Pinball Sales.
